Warm up during the cold weather with this traditional Chinese remedy made from red dates 红枣, goji berries 妻子, and white fungus 雪耳. It is a naturally warming drink, boosting blood circulation, while also improving skin condition, aiding in anti-aging and skin brightening via white fungus which naturally contains collagen.

Ingredients:

-around 20 dried dates (seeds removed)

-handful of goji berries

-one white fungus

-brown sugar to taste

-10 cups of water



Steps:

1. Rehydrate all of the dry ingredients: soak dried dates in water for 3-5 hours or overnight if possible, soak white fungus 2 hours prior, soak goji berries 1 hour prior. Drain all water before beginning. 2. Bring 10 cups of water to boil in a pot. 3. Once the water is boiling, combine all ingredients in the pot and simmer for 30-45 minutes. Serve immediately; alternatively can be served as a refreshing cold beverage.
